Insurance & Travel Fees

Step 1: Verify Your Coverage

• Use the links below to check if your insurance is in-network:

  • I am in-network with Aetna and UHC (United Healthcare), please verify benefits using your insurance card.

  • For all other plans I use a 3rd party company; The Lactation Network (TLN).

  • For Cigna, I use a 3rd party company; Wildflower.

  *Complete the pre-approval process online before your consult.

Step 2: Receive Confirmation

• Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and can proceed to book your consult.

• Once consult has been booked and confirmed, you will receive a consent and intake form that will need to be completed before your scheduled consult.

Prepare for Payment

• Payment is due at the time of your visit (credit card or HSA/FSA accepted).

• Sliding scale rates are available for families experiencing financial hardship.

Explore Payment Options

• For Self-Pay I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Travel Fee: A travel fee of $75 or $100 applies to all home visits.

Other Fees:

• Emergency (24 hours or less): $50

• Weekend and/or Holiday Fee: $50

*These fees are in addition to the cost of the consult and are not covered by your insurance.
